顔認証・指紋認証の採用
Citibank香港のオンラインバンキングが顔認証と指紋認証を積極的に取り入れるようです。Citibank香港は、2018年1月1日より、それまで各銀行が採用していたハードデバイスによるトークンを廃止しました。そして、その４ヶ月後には、更にセキュリティを進化させます。詳しい説明は、こちらのPDFファイルをご覧下さい。中国の顔認証が凄い事になってる事を最近のニュースで知りましたが、技術の進化が止まりません。
Citibank Hong Kong’s online banking will be face authentication and fingerprint authentication. Since January 1, 2018 Citibank Hong Kong abolished the token of the hard device.
Notice of Amendment
This is to inform you that the below items have been revised.
All items will become effective from April 15, 2018.
1. The amendments of Terms and Conditions for Citibank Online User Agreement
I. Section 2 – Security Codes
– Clause 2.3 is amended to include Face ID or any other biometric sensor/authentication technology.
II. Section 4 – My Undertaking and Responsibilities
– Clauses 4.2 and 4.3ix are amended to include Face ID and/or other biometric credentials.
III. Section 7 – Supply and Disclosure of Information
– Clauses 7.4 and 7.5 are added to advise customers on the use of cookies, pixel tags and/or other scanning technologies in Citibank Online and Citibank Mobile Application for security and fraud prevention and for other purposes such as improvement of user experience, and the possible restriction of access to Citibank Online and Citibank Mobile Application in the event of security concerns.
– Clause 7.6 is added to direct customers to Policy Statement related to Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance on www.citibank.com.hk regarding the use and collection of data.
IV. Section 8 – Amendments and Cancellation
– Clause 8.1 is amended to clarify that customers can only access online banking, mobile online banking, e-statement and e-advice services if they accept the Citibank Online User Agreement or its amendment from time to time. If customers want to enroll paper statement service (subject to relevant fees), they have to contact the Bank.
2. The amendments of Terms of Use for Applications offered by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited
I. A clause is added to clarify that customers can only access online banking, mobile online banking, e-statement and e-advice services if they accept the Terms of Use or the amendment from time to time. If customers want to enroll paper statement service (subject to relevant fees), they have to contact the Bank.
II. Some clauses are amended/added to include Face ID or any other biometric sensor/authentication technology, and related security measures.
3. The amendments of Apple-Specific Terms and Conditions
I. A clause is amended to include Face ID.
